This year, 2022, we will be adding 2 new team members! We are so excited to meet them. A successful Flow team member:
Understands the challenges that come with business and/or not-for-profit leadership
Is excited to work on a collaborative team
Engages in continuous growth and learning both professionally and personally
Knows their limitations and is willing to ask for support when those are reached
Can see clearly if and how a variety of small tasks work together to help reach stated goals
Is comfortable using a variety of programs, apps, etc. to complete work and communicate effectively
Is proactive
Has a high level of skill that correlates to one of our service areas, and also has the ability to branch out as needed or as opportunities arise
Has years of experience working in their area of expertise, and likely has a variety of work/volunteer/life experiences to draw on
Is able to engage with the idea of having a mission and vision for their own life
Is able to see the good in themselves and other people
Has excellent verbal and written communication skills, and operates from a "seek first to understand" mentality
Service Providers
We are seeking small business and not-for-profit support professionals with strategic thinking skills who are interested in helping businesses and organizations meet their full potential. Successful candidates will have at least 2 years of experience and knowledge of a variety of industries, and sectors. They have a keen eye for detail and an ability to assess client needs collaboratively with their team and plot a course forward. A thorough and holistic understanding of the unique needs of small businesses and not for profits, as well as a desire to work alongside them to see them succeed in reaching their goals, is essential. This role is client-facing.
In addition to delivering excellent service, Flow team members are expected to get to know their clients’ overall business strategies, collaborate with other team members, and manage tasks and deadlines.
Bookkeeping & Finance Management Service Providers may be a part of projects like:
Full cycle bookkeeping for small businesses (sole proprietors, corporations, partnerships)
Full cycle bookkeeping for Not-for-Profits
Budget development and implementation
Payroll
Automation
and more
and are proficient in:
Ensuring project objectives are met
Google Workspace
Quickbooks Online
Dext (previously Receiptbank) or similar
Supportive collaboration, resource sharing, and building on team successes
Work plan development

These positions will begin as part-time and will move to full-time. Only those who have a well-equipped home-based office need apply.
Team Leads
Team Leads fulfill a similar role to that of a Service Provider with an added level of oversight in the department as a whole. Supporting other team members in their tasks, maintaining a working knowledge of all current projects, and upholding a level of quality consistent with our standards and values are some of the elevated components of this position.
Team Lead applicants should have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in their area of focus. They should be comfortable and proficient with:
Problem Solving
Trouble Shooting
Creative Thinking
Providing High-Level Service to Professionals
Various softwares and systems related to their specific service area (Bookeeping and Finance Management, Marketing and Communications Management or Administration and Project Management)
Time and Project Management
Openly Giving and Receiving Feedback
